[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This session was live recorded by the band at the trio’s gigĀ  on March 14 2015 at Kunstgroep De Compagnie, Veghel, The Netherlands.
It was recorded on a Zoom recorder, which had 2 stereo tracks.
Most of the work consisted of finding the right balance between the tracks. One stereofile was a more distant sounding, roomy recording. This track was split into a right and left track and panned and eq-ed seperately to even out the low end and some phase issues the track had. The other stereo track was way more direct, capturing the band from much closer. To makes this track work with the other one I mainly used m/s compression and multiband compression to bring out the bassdrum and reduce some harshness in cymbals.
This track is most up front in the mix, the other serves more as a sort of room mic recording and glue for the overall sound.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
